GhostAssist

Overview

GhostAssist is a Chrome extension developed by IKATECH that provides productivity and automation features for Ghost Cloud dispatch operators. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

What data we collect

When you use GhostAssist, we collect and store the following:

• Email address — used to create and identify your account.
• Password — stored as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never store or transmit your plain-text password.
• Autocab API key — stored server-side, used solely to authenticate requests to the Autocab API on your behalf.
• Feature preferences — which features you have enabled and their configuration, stored locally in Chrome sync storage.
• Activity logs — login timestamps and feature usage events, retained for account management and security purposes.
• IP address — logged at login and API access, used for security monitoring only.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect, read, or transmit any booking data, driver data, or dispatch information from the Ghost Cloud interface.
• We do not track your browsing history.
• We do not sell or share your data with any third parties.
• We do not use any advertising or analytics services.

How the extension works

GhostAssist injects JavaScript into dispatch.autocab365.com pages only. Scripts are either bundled with the extension or fetched from our server (scripts.ibrahimabdul.co.uk) after your session is verified. No data from those pages is sent to our servers.

Your authentication token is stored in Chrome's sync storage and is used only to validate your session with our backend. It is never shared with third parties.

Data storage and security

• Account data is stored on a private VPS hosted in the EU.
• All communication between the extension and our server is over HTTPS.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are not recoverable.
• Access to your account can be revoked by the administrator at any time.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@ikatech.co.uk. Account deletion removes your email, hashed password, API key, and activity logs from our system.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension or via email if we hold one for your account. Continued use of GhostAssist after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
